Monday
-          Watch Ms. Molloy's Story Time video – Sally and the Limpet
-          10 Minutes of DEAR time – book of your choice
-           




Tuesday
-          'Sally and the Limpet' is a book about protecting the beach and the wonderful creatures that live there.
-          Watch the video below which shows an array of sea creatures.
-          Choose a couple of sea creatures from the video. Draw and label these animals OR choose one to research yourself.

Wednesday
Look at the following grid and choose an activity for your Wellbeing Wednesday that you will enjoy doing.








Thursday
10 minutes of free writing OR 10 minutes of drawing
                     Complete this 'Under the Sea' themed spot the difference activity


Friday
DEAR time – 10 minutes of independent reading with a book of your choice.
                      Be read to for 10 minutes.

Other Optional Activities for During the Week:

History
Use an old box to create your very own time capsule filled with things you have used at home since school has closed. In a few years’ time, you can look back on the different things you completed during this unique time. 



Science
We hope you loved Ms Molloy's story about under the sea! Have you ever been to the beach? What kind of things would you see at the beach? Could you sort them in to living things and non-living things? Draw a picture of things you would see at the beach and label them! You can use this worksheet to help you.





Geography
Click on the link below to discover the differences between the country we live in (Ireland) and India. Find the Irish flag and then the Indian flag on the webpage to compare both countries side by side. -           Create an obstacle course at home using objects from home. Think about the different movements you can include, e.g. hopping, climbing through a tunnel, jumping, going backwards, skipping, balancing, etc.

-          - Set yourself a new goal and practise it for the week, e.g. 10 keepy uppies with a football or hurl, run/cycle a distance in a certain time frame, do a forward or backward roll. Choose a target that’s achievable and measurable. Have fun!
